Established by Phyllis Wang, Auster Wang BCS is a broad spectrum service company, based in Saratoga Springs, NY, that provides a diverse range of project-based strategic planning, in-house and skill enhancing programs, that help take small and medium not-for-profit and for-profit businesses to the next level and meet their strategic organizational needs.
Phyllis Wang, President, is a seasoned business executive with 35 years of experience in corporate and and not-for-profit organizations. Her experience includes ten years at Upjohn Healthcare Services in the greater New York City area, followed by 24 years as President of a statewide trade association representing home and community-based care operating from Albany, NY and more recently establishing Auster Wang BCS through which she provides strategic business and consultng services.
Wang has extensive experience developing and facilitating strategic planning for a wide range of for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, implementing strategic educational programs, and conducting leadership and management training programs. She has authored a number of articles which have been published in business and trade publications and has provided testimony for numerous Government Hearings, has been interviewed extensively on issues related to issues on home and community based care and has keynoted a variety of programs on a myriad of relevant topics. She has also served on numerous regional, state and national Boards focusing on education, home and community based care, underserved communities and philanthropy.
Wang has received a number of recognitions and awards including the Richard Z. Steinhaus Award for Contribution to the Health Care Industry, a Lifetime Achievement Award for contributions to association management and the health care industy and the United Jewish Federation of Northeastern New York's President's Award for outstanding community service.
Wang holds a BA from Hofstra Universtiy, an MA from SUNY at StonyBrook and has completed extensive post graduate work in business and immigration policy issues at both Hofstra and SUNY at StonyBrook.
